To address these issues, Andy Marine have launched three 316 stainless steel folding cleats. These cleats are all made of 316 Marine Grade stainless steel. The surfaces are polished to a mirror finish. Each cleat supports folding storage. The handle is placed flat on the deck when not in use, and is raised upwards when in use. The standard model folding cleat is suitable for most small and medium-sized vessels.

This cleat does not come with screws.The user is required to prepare the stainless steel screws and washers by themselves.The center distances of the installation holes are 71, 75.5 and 119 millimeters respectively.The standard cleat is suitable for the side mooring points of most sailboats and powerboats.

The cleat with screws comes with the fasteners included, reducing the hassle of procurement.

Each cleat is equipped with a dedicated stainless steel screw.Moreover, the screw and the cleats are designed as a single unit, and no holes need to be reserved on the surface. Compared with the conventional cleats, its surface is cleaner and more pleasing.

The unique button design of this cleat makes it easily to open the handle.

There is a button at the end of this cleat handle. When the button is pressed, the handle will automatically spring up to a vertical position.This mooring cleat is suitable for installation at locations where rapid mooring is frequently required, such as the stern of a ship or a floating dock. The crew can operate it with one hand, while the other hand can simultaneously pull the rope.

No matter which type of cleat you choose, after installation, a layer of waterproof lubricating grease should be applied to the contact surface between the screw head and the base. This layer of grease can prevent seawater from penetrating. Check the movement of the rotating shaft once every three months. If you feel that the rotation is sluggish, rinse the gap of the rotating shaft with fresh water.
